La contea di Limerick è un diamante, incastonato magnificamente in quel gioiello che è la  Regione dello Shannon. Ogni sua sfaccettatura –i villaggi pittoreschi, i maestosi castelli e le meravglie archeologiche- ti abbaglia. 

La mole delle Ballyhoura Mountains fa da sentinella su una campagna preziosa, tempestata di siti storici e pregevoli monumenti. 

La contea è famosa per le città e i villaggi bellissimi, per luoghi magici come Castleconnell, Killmallock e Adare e per tanti piccoli, poetici angoli segreti.
