Perhaps it is a stunning scenic image you readily associate with Ireland? It may be a striking tourist spot that was previously unfamiliar to you. Maybe it is an extraordinary person or group of people that deserve the Wonder of Ireland accolade.
 
Take part in photographing and describing the Wonders of Ireland that will stand the test of time.
 
Now in its fourth year, the GoIreland.com Photography Awards is an international amateur tourist photography competition held in association with John Hinde aimed at showcasing Ireland and its tourism qualities.
 
Open to both Irish holidaymakers and visiting tourists, the Photography Awards invite you to use your imagination and skill to capture an image characterising Ireland’s tourism qualities that illustrate a Wonder the island of Ireland has to offer.
 
The overall winning photograph and 11 runners-up of the GoIreland.com Photography Awards 2008 will become part of history by being reproduced in an original John Hinde calendar.
 
The overall winning amateur photographer will also earn a fantastic Ireland holiday with flights, Carlton hotel accommodation and car rental included. 
 
The closing date for entries is Friday, October 10th 2008 at 6pm CET.
