Renowned for their scones, jam, tarts and wholesome meals, owner Mary Jordan and her team are passionate about providing fresh and locally sourced food. Breakfast is served from 9.30am until 12pm and lunch from 12.30pm until 3pm. Their lunch specials change daily according to availability of fresh produce. Some popular dishes include roast beef, fish pie and lasagne. They also have a wide selection of desserts including pavalova, apple tart and freshly baked scones. The Forge Restaurant is less than 1km from the beautiful Altamont Gardens, which are open all year round and regularly host walking tours and gardening events.
