The Hotel gains its inspiration from the nearby Grianan of Aileach Fort that proudly rests on An Grianan Hill, lending shadow on the Hotel itself. Widely regarded as one of those gems of Irish hospitality that guests just love coming back to. After a day of business meetings or sightseeing, the revitalizing ambiance of the transformed Old Church Restaurant awaits. Inside the historic building, which retains many of its original features, guests can enjoy bistro-style or fine dining. The restaurant serves breakfast daily and evening meals from Friday through Sunday. Also, for a snack, quiet drink or lively evening with live music or sports, guests can drop into the Fort Bar and Lounge. Anyone arranging a corporate or private function can turn to An Grianan for an excellent venue as well. The hotel has two dedicated suites, which include audio-visual equipment. The larger function room, the Tuatha De Danann suite, is capable of hosting wedding receptions of up to 350 guests. This Hotel is also facilitated accordingly for those with disabilities. In and around Burt, there are a number of attractions and activities to explore. The town is home to the well-known ruins of Burt Castle and Grianan Ailigh.
