On Saturday 15th March, St Patrick’s Weekend came to Glasgow!

Thank you for helping us celebrate St Patrick's Weekend

The cobbled area of Merchant's Square was transformed into an Irish village experience. Eamonn Holmes joined Tourism Ireland to 'wet the shamrock' and hosted the grand final of our Radio Clyde competition - with a fantastic prize of a family trip to Ireland!

Those who came along this weekend discovered…

•  The tastes of Ireland, from Bushmills Whiskey to soda bread

•  The sounds of Ireland, from live ceilidh bands to a larger than life version of U2

•  Fabulous competitions and hourly prizes throughout the day

•  The Radio Clyde Roadshow with Dean Park and Bill Smith

•  Children’s entertainers

•  A host of other surprise guests

There were even free pedicabs whizzing around the city taking people to the festivities at Merchants Square!
