Inspired by the hit TV show Father Ted, this hugely popular festival will be entering its 4th year in 2010. Taking place on the West coast of Ireland, the Friends of Ted Festival incorporates actual locations from the series.

St Patrick's Day Festival
March 12th - March 17th 2010
St. Patrick’s Festival is rolling out the green carpet for six days for an Irish celebration of monumental proportions; Street theatre, music, comedy, outdoor spectaculars, dance, visual art and all that’s just a taster for what is planned for Ireland’s largest national celebration. Dublin and Limerick will lead the nation and promise six lively daysand nights of free celebrations encompassing a feeling of what it means to be or just feel Irish.

The Festival of Fools

The Carlsberg Cat Laughs Comedy Festival

One of the best known and longest running comedy festivals in Ireland takes place annually in the medieval city of Kilkenny and is at the top of the summer festival diary for those who love a good laugh and appreciate real stand-up talent.

The Hallowe’en Howls Comedy Festival
