If you visit the Ros Tapestry Exhibition this season you will be allowed to place a stitch in the new "Unity" tapestry, recently commissioned to celebrate Ireland's Presidency of the European Union. The 15 panels of the original huge tapestry project, dealing with the Norman story of New Ross and South East Ireland, are almost complete, - three are still being stitched, - and you may wish to put your stitch in one of those and be part of that wonderful work of art and history instead. You can make your choice when you arrive..... whichever you do, be sure that your descendants will be able to boast that you were part of one of the most unique voluntary community projects.
