Downpatrick will come alive during the week Monday 11th - Monday 18th March 2013 as Down District celebrate the annual St Patrick's Festival with a host of spectacular events.

The 2013 St Patrick's Celebrations programme includes a host of new events with themed concerts, exhibitions, cultural, social and sporting events adding to the excitement and reinforcing the town’s unique associations with arguably the world’s most celebrated saint.

It is expected that more than 30,000 spectators will gather to see the highlight event, the traditional Cross Community Carnival Parade through the town on Sunday 17 March.
