Rathwood is an Award winning centre integrating Garden Centre, Gift Shop, Restaurant and much more. At Rathwood Gift Shop, you will find 'new' antiques of tomorrow, along with impressive displays featuring a large selection of unusual gift items and delightful ideas. The Garden Centre stocks a range of attractive mosaic tables and matching chairs to suit any size patio. All weather, garden furniture, gazebos and many more items, exclusive to Rathwood, are also stocked to make your garden as comfortable as your home. We continue to supply an extensive range of top quality pots and unusual plants. Relax over a coffee in our tranquil Restaurant and sample some of our excellent cakes, savouries or scrumptious dishes of the day. With many exciting plans for the new centre, a train with two carraigages is on the cards to give rides around Rathwood Park! This will be unique attraction in the South East. Included in the Park will eb the new children's play area, a pets corner, wild flower meadow and woodland walks. The Woodland Walks project is the firs of its kind in Ireland and it is in a partnership with Coillte and a local community group. There will be a short wheelchairs/ child's buggy walk to a lake and longer looped walk. Access to all walks will be from Rathwood's car park. Walled Garden Centre, Train Rides, Children's Play Park and woodland walks open in Summer 2007.
