From 7 entries in the very first event to the present day maximum of 63 entries, Kenmare Golf Club continues to host the hugely successful Brothers Golf Tournament. The 30th Brothers event was the biggest turnout recorded yet with 67 teams and won by Minister for Transport at that time Noel Dempsey and his brothers. The festival has a cosmopolitan & international flavour and past winners have come from countries as diverse as America, France and Britain. Participants do not travel alone, they bring family, friends and spectators and these fill the streets of Kenmare with a lively and carnival atmosphere. Teams consist of three brothers who will play an 18 hole stableford competition on both days – the best 2 stableford scores at each hole to count.
