Skibbereen Arts Festival pays homage to the vibrant fabric of the Skibbereen community that is the arts with an excellent programme of events with many world-class national and international acts coming to town. Highlights include the annual gala concert commemorating Canon James Goodman, an outdoor film screening, the Sound & Vision trail around the town and a multitude of film screenings throughout the festival. There are also many other exciting events in the programme including a brilliant mix of art exhibitions, a range of workshops for adults and teenagers as well as an archive night of local footage on the big screen. As well as all that, there is a children's film screening, a session trail around the town and wonderful exhibitions of community art projects based in Skibbereen. 2013 dates to be confirmed.
