Geesala

The Geesala Festival Week begins on Sunday, 12th August and runs through until the following Sunday. It is a great fun festival with lots of events taking place, including a vintage show, horse show jumping and classes, dog and sheep shows, entertainment, etc. There will also be the popular 10k road race, deep sea angling competition, and a clay pigeon shoot. There will be various children's sports, a talent competition, exhibition of the arts, local produce, as well as two super days of traditional horse and greyhound racing on the spectacular Doolough Beach with stalls, bar, live music, food and a fun fair. The Geesala Festival Week will be packed-filled with activities for all ages. Details of the programme will be available nearer the time.
