From 27th April - 9th, June Bridget O’Gorman will present a series of new and existing sculptural, photographic and video based installations produced specifically for the gallery inspired by Evans Home – a building soon to be renovated as the Butler Gallery’s new home. O’Gorman includes images of the remnants of a recent, living history of Evans Home, which bears strong traces of its previous use as both a domestic asylum and library store. Building upon what we know of the past, O’Gorman creates new ways of making what is private public and navigates a way forward. Daily Opening Hours: April 10am – 1pm, 2 – 5.30pm May - June 10am – 5.30pm
