WaterSports Day is a fundraiser for CARI-Children At Risk Ireland-all monies raised go towards helping sexually abused children. It has been held annually since 1995 raising approximately €45,000 to date. It is a wonderful day out for all ages but especially families and young people. Events include boat rides, pony rides, scuba diving, kayaking - all for €3 or €4 per activity! There are also children's races, bouncy castle & slide and a sandcastle competition with great prizes such as free family visits to a leisure centre, to a pet farm or free boat trips. There will be a Barbeque, teas/coffees/drinks/sweets/ice cream to avail of on the day. This event is very popular with locals and also people who holiday in the area planning to be there for WaterSports Day. Admission €3 per child, €4 per adult.
