Extreme North's Quadrathon 4 Marathon Challenge offers 4 individual courses, mainly along the quiet, coastal route know by tourists as the Inishowen 100 Scenic Route. Participants can choose to compete in all 4 marathons or, alternatively, choose from a half or full marathon on any of the days. This event is ideal for family and friends who may have different ambitions or levels of fitness, so each person can chose a challenge that suits them while enjoying the hospitality and attractions that Inishowen has to offer. Each marathon, or half marathon, will have a hill climb that requires a little extra effort over a standard marathon. This 105 mile course, over 4 days, takes in the entire coastal roads of Inishowen, so you will see the peninsula as you have seen it before. The route is dotted with numerous scenic, historical and geographical landmarks. This event builds a brilliant camaraderie among runners, helping you stay focused and complete the challenge. Accommodation, restaurants, pubs and the general hospitality and craic of the area all help to both relax and focus you for the challenge ahead. Your reward for completing will be a specially designed event medal for each day, t-shirt, post race refreshment and the personal inner satisfaction of achieving your goal.
