Relay for Life Donegal is a 24 hour relay to honour cancer survivors, remember those who did not survive, raise funds for cancer research and promote cancer related services available in Donegal. The event provides support and entertainment for those participating in the 24 hour relay, for friends, survivors, families, carers and anyone who wishes to come celebrate, remember and fight back. The poignant Candle of Hope ceremony will see thousands of candles lit at dusk in memory of loved ones and information will be provided for those who might need support in dealing with cancer. This is a community event which will brighten the spirits of cancer sufferers, survivors and carers and which will also benefit everyone through providing funding for cancer research.
