Escape from Spike Island is a triathlon event consisting of a swim, cycle & run. Starting from the prison on Spike Island, you will swim across Cork Harbour to the Titanic Pier in Cobh. The cycle is completely contained on the great island of Cork harbour. Run the Cobh promenade; take Europe's only Jail Break Triathlon. Distances: Sprint – 750m swim, 20km cycle and 5km run; or Olympic – 1500m swim, 40km cycle and 10km run.
