Sligo Feis Ceoil was established in 1903 and has gone from strength to strength. It was set up to create a platform for people of all ages to perform and nurture the arts in Sligo. R.T.Elyricfm, R.I.A.M, Stagewise and The Gaiety School of Acting are sponsors of the bursaries (€1000 each) and scholarships presented at Sligo Feis Ceoil. Competitors get direction on their performances and future careers in classical singing and music, traditional singing and music, drama, verse speaking and art. Ajudicators are the highest standard available. Suitable for ages 4 plus. The syllabus is available online and closing date for entries is 15 February 2013.
