Killarney's newly established Autumn Racing Festival features 29 races over 4 days with a prize fund of nearly €400,000 on offer. On Wednesday the festival plays host to the The Vincent O'Brien Listed Ruby Stakes with the first of the seven flat races due off at 4.55pm. Thursday's Killarney meeting features the www.thetote.com Kingdom Gold Cup and the evening offers a mixed race card, with the first race off at 4.45pm. A Friday evening racing in Killarney always offers a great atmosphere and there is an all national hunt programme with seven races. The first event is scheduled for 4.50pm. The feature race is the Grade C www.lakehotel.com Handicap Steeplechase over two and a half miles. Saturday's mixed eight race card commences at 2.25pm. Killarney Racecourses Ladies Days have a long association with style and elegance; Saturday September 1 will see Killarney Racecourse host its Littlewoods Ireland Ladies Day. There is a prize of a €2,000 Littlewoods Ireland shopping spree for the winner and €100 vouchers for the 9 runners' up.
