Westport's Easter Bank Holiday Walking & Biking Festival is being organised by Gerry Greensmyth of Croagh Patrick Walking Tours. This terrific weekend of activity promises to be one to remember with the ascent of Mweelrea Mountain topping the bill - at 814m it is the highest mountain in the province. This will be followed by a 9 mile walk on the Western Way which incorporates the beautiful Erriff River section from Aasleagh Falls. Day 3 will take in the famous Greenway cycle. Participants will be transferred to Achill where you will meet your bicycle and then set off for Westport - a distance of 42km (all off-road). It will be possible to do any two consecutive days of this weekend.
