The Biking Blitz is a beginner friendly mountain bike series. Now in its third year, the exciting Biking Blitz Series kicks off in February 2013 with events taking place in Wicklow, Limerick, Galway and Dublin. The Biking Blitz is a mass start cross country mountain bike event, aimed primarily at beginners but with something for everyone. There are series points up for grabs at each event, with an overall series devised from your best three results from any four events. There are two categories to choose from: 'Baggy Shorts' for beginners who must complete a 15km circuit; or 'Super Pro' for experienced mountain bikers who complete a challenging 30km route. Mountain bike trail centres are used exclusively for these events to ensure a fast flowing course in all weather conditions. So saddle up for the first time and put your training to the test at the 2013 Biking Blitz.
