The Celtic Series Tour de Conamara is the largest mass participation cycling event in the West of Ireland. The event starts and finishes in Clifden with 140km and 80km route options to cater for cyclists of all standards. The following day, a novel and fun team time trial will take place in the heart of Connemara over 40km. Starting and finishing in Carna, a team of five can take part - so why not get together your club, colleagues, friends or family? This is your chance to take part in two days of cycling, both with a different emphasis but fun at the heart of it. Live like a pro for two days in your first Tour event with a sportive stage and a team time trial. Individuals interested in taking part and not part of a team will be matched up. Clifden will be alive on Saturday evening after the Tour de Conamara while family entertainment is provided after the Team Trial - Nos na Gaoithe. Participants from overseas cycling groups will join in as part of the Celtic Cousins Cycling Invite Programme and return to Ireland to take part in a weekend of cycling. Not to mention a few famous names from the world of sport!
