Now in its 4th year, Clifden Trad Festival is a great weekend of music, song and dance. There will be an official opening concert in the Clifden Station House Hotel on Friday 5th of April at 7pm and great music sessions in Clifden Town afterwards. On Saturday at 10.30am, there will be a wide range of music and dance workshops with a youth session afterwards at 1pm. Pub music sessions will be in abundance in the afternoon with a host of local and visiting performers - musicians, singers, Sean nos and Irish dancers. From 7.30pm in the Town Square, a purpose-built outdoor stage will host a well know national act. On Saturday night, pub music sessions will take place throughout the town of Clifden. The Traditional Sunday Music Mass will be at 11.30am and the festival will wind down with the farewell session in Foyles Hotel on Sunday afternoon at 12.30pm.
