The Limerick St. Patrick's Festival is a weekend long celebration featuring Ireland's largest regional parade, an international band championship, a trad music trail and family fun in the Hunt Museum and Milk Market. Limerick holds Ireland's largest regional parade which is a blaze of colour and music, with more than 3,500 participants featuring musicians, dancers and entertainers on March 17th at 12 noon. The 2013 theme will feature a gathering of hundreds of St. Patrick's for a fun 'Parade of Patrick's, a hundred metres of mitres' to celebrate the Gathering 2013. The International Band Parade will host several new bands travelling from North America, Europe and the four corners of Ireland. Joining Limerick's finest, these bands will showcase their talents with adrenalin pumping music for all the family to enjoy. Don't miss the numerous other Limerick St. Patrick's Festival programme favourites, such as the races at Limerick Racecourse, Family Fun Day at the Hunt Museum and St Patrick's Festival Markets at the Milk Market.
