At the Connemara Four Seasons Walking Festival you can explore Connemara with guides Michael Gibbons & Gerry McCluskey providing a unique insight into the rich cultural, archaeological and historic heritage of this most beautiful and wild part of the country. The walks are suitable for beginners through to advanced; all that is needed are a good pair of walking boots! With events held across all four seasons, participants get the opportunity to see the magnificent rugged Connemara highlands & islands in all their glory. Each event consists of 2 days walking, with routes carefully selected by the guides suiting the particular season, ensuring that you get to see the most spectacular sights. The event is supported by a number of local hotels, ensuring that at the end of an exhilarating days walking, you are welcomed back to your base hotel to enjoy great food, entertainment and a great night's sleep, making sure you are fighting fit for the next day's walking!
