A Taste of Donegal Food Festival will be held over a three day period from Friday August 24th until Sunday August 26th 2012. The festivities will commence on the Friday evening with the official opening at 4pm followed by entertainment. All exhibitors will be present show casing their food. The marquee opens at 12noon on Saturday and continues until 8pm that evening there will be Cookery Classes for Children & Teenagers, and example is where children can decorate their own buns and take them home Artisan Food Producers will be in attendance along with other exhibitors show casing their food and products. There will also be a section covering Lifestyles and Leisure Promotions. There will be Celebrity Chef Appearances, Demonstrations from: An Bord Bia, Tourism College Killybegs & Local Award Winning Chefs, Master-classes by Celebrity Chefs, Food workshops and displays by Associated Craft Butchers of Ireland, Competitions & Food Trails. Sunday opens at 11am and continues all day until 6pm with all the same activities as Saturday. Please see itinerary below. There will be a seated area where you can relax with a cup of tea and a pastry or lunch / dinner. Disabled facilities available throughout the marquee. Toilets are located on site. Parking will be located in the car parks adjacent to the town centre with parking facilities available at various locations on the outskirts of the town.
