A musical music festival that was formed by a collective of musicians who wanted a decent gig to perform at. The festival is made up of 4 live music stages a DJ tent, holistic therapies and family areas. As a 3 day camping festival its snug and friendly with 3,000 attendees, as we're determined to protect the family feel of the festival. Run entirely by volunteers and musicians who perform for free the festival showcases all of the abundant talent that's running wild and un-noticed in this country and indeed abroad. A line up of 150 acts+ are selected from an open submissions program which opens in the new year, to Irish and international acts also. The festival has no sponsorship to date and aims only to affiliate with sponsors who can help the musical community. Children, camper van's and everyone really are very welcome. Early bird tickets will be available early 2012 from our new website www.knockanstockan.ie which will be online in January. The submissions process will also be available through the site as will traders and volunteers information.
