Celebrated actor, producer and director, Danny DeVito will come to Dublin next year to attend a special tribute at the 2013 Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, which takes place from 14th-24th February 2013. Also Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, the National Concert Hall and the RTÉ Concert Orchestra have just announced Oscar winning film composer Dario Marianelli (Pride and Prejudice, Anna Karenina, Atonement) will attend a special concert on 19 Feb 2013 to celebrate his music, as part of Ireland’s EU Presidency celebrations. Established in 2003, The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival (JDIFF) has fast become Ireland’s premier feature film festival and takes place in Ireland’s capital city over the course of eleven days and nights each February. JDIFF continues its commitment to celebrating film as an art form by presenting over 140 films from the four corners of the globe to the Irish Audience. The festival is a citywide event that takes place in all of the Dublin City Centre Cinemas including Cineworld, The Savoy, Screen, Irish Film Institute and Light House Cinema in Smithfield. The majority of films shown at the film festival are Irish premieres and will be the only time that they are screened in Ireland. Season Tickets and vouchers are currently available at www.jdiff.com at an early bird rate of €195 until Dec 31st, and will give holders the opportunity to watch an unlimited amount of the very best in Irish and international cinema with advanced booking, as well as walk the red carpet with the stars and attend after-show parties.
