The annual O'Carolan Harp & Traditional Music Festival takes place in Keadue, Co Roscommon, from the 3rd to 6th August 2012. The festival will begin with a harp concert in Keadue Church with all-Ireland harpist, Seana Davey & band at 20.30, performing O'Carolan and many other genres of music, preceded by address of welcome by Patsy Daly, R.I.D.C. This will be followed by a céilí in St Ronan's Hall at 22.00 - music by Matt Cunningham. There will Irish music concerts, ceili, harp recitals, international harp competitions, lectures, impromptu music sessions, etc. during the weekend - view website for the full programme of events.
