14 September 2012 - 21 September 2012
The Cork Small Boats Festival is one of the most prestigious angling competitions in the country. It is a “bring your own boat” week-long competition. Entrants are mainly from England, Wales and Ireland. Fishing takes place in the sheltered waters of Cork Harbour and beyond. Each year over 40 species of fish are caught during the competition. The competition is based in East Cork in the villages of Aghada and Whitegate. Entrants stay in the Trabolgan Holiday Centre. The event prides itself on being a friendly yet competitive event where new competitors are welcome.
