An interactive, exciting and traditional Irish experience for everyone. Every Thursday night you can be part of The Bodhrán Experience™ with Helen McLoughlin in Monkstown, Co. Dublin. This is an unforgettable experience and a unique opportunity for all to learn to play Ireland’s Native Drum-The Bodhrán. Helen McLoughlin is a traditional drum (Bodhrán) performer and teacher for 28 years, who offers a highly entertaining "hands on" experience for everyone from any part of the world. It’s a blast! Everyone joins in a semi circle for this exciting and interactive session. You will discover rhythmic talent that they never knew they had. With Helen's guidance, community building and great sense of humour this creates a very enjoyable evening. Helen is the reason why everyone wants to pick up the Bodhrán and join the music. Helen has developed her own teaching technique, with the emphasis on having fun in a relaxed atmosphere. It’s intergenerational, from 2 to 92 years young and for all nationalities. Even if English is not a first language, just; watch, listen, play and have fun! Everyone will love the Bodhrán.
