Clonmel

22 November 2012 - 02 February 2013

Due to popular demand South Tipperary County Museum will host a reprise of Donal Wylde's nostalgic photographic exhibition 'The Light of Other Days' in contrast with Waterford Landscape Photographer Terry Murphy's panoramic images of South Tipperary's beautiful countryside. 'The Light of Other Days' captures life in Clonmel and South Tipperary in the 1960s and 1970s as seen through the lens of Donal Wylde as a youthful photo-journalist with 'The Nationalist'. Eight new images have been added to this successful exhibition. Terry Murphy's 'Panoramix' features large format gicleé prints of South Tipperary's beauty spots and hidden treasures. Better known as a commercial photographer, Terry's passion has always been for atmospheric landscapes and seascapes in his native South East. Call into the museum to browse and take a trip down memory lane. This exhibition is registered with The Gathering 2013, so tell your friends and family to Gather at South Tipperary County Museum, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary. Prints are available on request at the museum reception.
