Parkgate Avenue

Ty-Isa (Welsh for ‘the house alone’) was the home of CS Lewis’ paternal grandfather, Richard Lewis, from 1870 until the death of his wife, Martha, in 1903. Following the death of his wife, Richard divided his time by staying with each of his sons until finally settling at Little Lea in 1907. The house is now a private residence.
