Situated 3.6km south east of Portaferry, close to the east coast of the Peninsula and overlooking Millin Bay. Excavated in 1953 a tomb of at least 15 people was found dating back over 4,000 years. A late Neolithic burial ground, the bones had been taken apart and stacked in neat order. The sight is sign posted on the road and access is by gate and pathway at the side of a private road. Roadside parking is available. Open all year and admission is free.
