- Prices: Admission prices for 2012 will be: Adult £6.90, child £3.40, OAP’s & concession £5.25, family £18.55(2 adults & 2 children) All cards are accepted except Diners and AMEX. Group rates available for 12 or more people. Admission free for WWT members, helpers of visitors with disabilities, and children under the age of four.

Castle Espie, situated on the shores of Strangford Lough near Comber, County Down, is the newest WWT visitor centre and the Trust’s first in Ireland where it is being hailed as an international exemplar of best practice in habitat restoration, sustainable design and green tourism. Visitors can witness Ireland’s largest collection of ducks, geese and swans. Centre facilities include - unique viewing points from the Brent hide, waterfowl gardens, woodland walks. Nature centre, art gallery, shop, Loughshore cafe. Castle Espie offers a varied programme of events and activities for all ages throughout the year for more information visit wwt.org.uk/castleespie. The centre is also a perfect venue for a wide range of functions, including weddings, receptions and parties. The centre is accessible for people with disabilities.
