Lurgan Park is a large sheltered lake, 55 acres in area, in an urban location with convenient parking in Robert Street or Windsor Avenue. There are fantastic opportunities for the coarse angler to fish for carp, roach, bream, perch, hybrids and pike.
Opportunities exist all year but fishing is best from April to September. Boats are not allowed and the feeder and waggler methods are to be used. There are no bag limits or size limits and no permits are required. A FCB coarse fishing rod licence is required for the over 18's.
