The Rinkha

Add to My Ireland Larne Antrim - Northern Ireland

The Rinkha – homemade ice cream since 1921!

Calling in for an ice cream at The Rinkha is a must for anyone exploring the scenic treasures of Islandmagee and the stunning Glens of Antrim.

The Rinkha, something of an institution around these parts, was built in 1937 and boasts a colourful history – it was first a very popular dance hall and community centre until the 1960s, and since then, one of the best known independent toy stores in the area.

But it is the incredibly delicious ice cream that has the customers coming back for more. With a myriad of fantastic flavours to try, as well as the ever popular vanilla ‘99’ cone, no trip to the North East would be complete without a stop at the much-loved Rinkha.
