Glassdrumman Lodge lies in the heart of the ancient Kingdom of Mourne, just outside the village of Annalong on the County Down coast. The Lodge is owned by Graeme and Joan Hall whose philosophy is "Simple Excellence" and who have already gained from Glassdrumman a widespread reputation. Open to Non Residents for Dinner at 19:00 - 20:00 by Reservation only. Guests are served highly acclaimed cuisine produced locally. Dundrum Bay oysters are a favourite. The secret of the kitchen is in serving good food with simple sauces that enhance the true flavour. An extensive wine list complements the experience.
Glassdrumman Lodge Cookery School:- The kitchens at Glassdrumman have been teaching professional chefs for more than twenty years and now are finally opening to the public. Chefs from Glassdrumman have gone on to Gordon Ramsey's Michelin Star Restaurants and The Merchant Hotel and many have gone on to open their own cafe's and restaurants.
We run 4 hour cookery classes from 11am - 3pm and full day courses from 10am - 4.30 pm each day of the week. Each of our 8 courses are aimed at people with differing levels of competency. Each 4 course's Mon to Fri costs £109 and weekends and bank holidays cost £129. The full day courses are £159 seven days a week
