The Organic Centre was established in 1995 near Rossinver, County Leitrim. It promotes organic gardening and sustainable living through learning gardens, educational courses, tours and workshops as well as community and school projects. The aim of the centre is to provide training, information and advice on organic farming, gardening and sustainable ways of living. The on-site demonstration gardens include seven polytunnels, an orchard, outdoor gardens, ornamental beds and a woodland. There is also an eco-shop with seeds for herbs, vegetables and flowers. The shop also stocks wildflower seeds that are produced in Ireland according to organic standards. The centre’s website contains a detailed programme of activities and course schedules. Parking is available.
