- Directions: From Oughterard village we are 3.2km: proceed along Main Street towards Clifden, passing the Garda Station on your left. Just before the Church and Bridge turn left , signposted Costelloe and Shannapheasteen. Drive out this road past the Carpet Factory, and Oughterard Motors, then take the right turn onto the Rusheeny Road as signposted. Drive for 1.6km and we are located on the left hand side just before the tiny village of Rusheeney.

Living Ginger Designs of Oughterard, County Galway are beautiful, contemporary porcelain ceramics, designed and handcrafted by Louise Browne. Living Ginger Designs offer two main ranges, the Impressed Collections, featuring the most popular Flora Range, and her Smocked Work, an innovative collection of vessels created with sewn smocked fabrics capturing the essence of the Connemara landscape. Glazed in either subtle grey and green tones, they are reminiscent of the big sky country that surrounds the studio in Oughterard, the gateway to Connemara. All of Louise's designs feel delicate and look high end and make stunning objects for a special gift, or a unique statement piece for a home. Visitors can visit her studio and showroom to see her at work, view her current ranges, purchase quality seconds, collect orders, or have an item personalised. Demonstrations can be given as required to families or groups as well as pottery classes by calling ahead to book.
