Zipit Forest Adventures

Situated in Boyle, County Roscommon in Lough Key Forest and Activity Park, Zipit Forest adventures provides a fun filled, environmentally friendly, adrenaline experience suitable for adventure lovers and families. Experience the excitement of flying along zip lines, swinging through trees and feeling an immense sense of achievement. Ideal for those new to the world of adventure who like their challenges in bite-sized chunks to weekend warriors seeking the latest adventure test. Trained instructors are present to provide assistance and encouragement and individuals are free to go at their own pace. Once fitted with a safety harness, participants get to hurtle down a zip wire, ride a BMX across a treetop bridge, climb suspended ladders, swing into cargo nets, balance on a rope and much, much more! For those who claim they are fearless, there is always the base jump. With activities ranging in height from 1 to 20 metres, the course contains five individual circuits suitable for all ages and abilities. Children from the age of seven upwards can participate, as long as they are at least one metre tall. Participants aged seven to seventeen must be supervised by an adult. The all weather course takes three to four hours to complete as there are over 750 metres of ziplines and over 1.3 kilometres of activities. With a kid's circuit (green), a family circuit (white) and two progressively challenging circuits (blue and red) for teenagers and adults, the course provides hours of fun for a great family day out. Family, group and student discounts are available. Booking is recommended and essential for larger groups.
