Murray's Angling Services

Murray's B&B and Angling Services offer a complete package for the visiting angler, whether a novice or experienced fisherman. Their 3* approved B&B is located close to the River Shannon and Lough Derg, and a few minutes drive from Portumna town. The area is renowned for its excellent bream, roach, hybrid, tench and pike fishing. Lough Derg also holds stocks of large brown trout. Mike has many years coarse fishing experience and local knowledge of the rivers and lakes. They provide boat hire for the coarse, pike or game fisherman. Ghillie service and tackle hire is also available for visitors. For the shore angler, they give up-to-date information on the best locations and baits. Novice fishermen, including accompanied children, can avail of Murray's School of Angling to learn different techniques with all bait and tackle supplied. They have an onsite tackle store with bait, fridges and drying facilities.
