Paddy McDonnell was born near the banks of the river Moy, Co Mayo, and has 40 years experience of fishing/guiding on the famous rivers, lakes and streams of the West. Paddy set up Angling Adventures to provide beginners or experienced visiting anglers with a complete personalised service. Based in Swinford, Co Mayo, Angling Adventures cater for anglers wishing to fish for salmon, trout, pike and saltwater fish with fly, spinner or natural bait. All methods and techniques are catered for, including specialised trips targeting huge specimen brown trout (ferox) on Loughs Corrib, Mask and Conn. Individual or group holiday packages can include accommodation, access to private salmon fishing, all necessary fishing gear, boat hire etc. Fishing for wild fish in Ireland, with the complex weather patterns that sometimes occur, demands that the angler must be fishing in the right place at the right time, with the best method to match the prevailing conditions.
