Beyond the Blarney offers quality cultural experiences designed to bring you closer and take you deeper into Ireland’s history and culture. We organise workshops on various aspects of Irish history, culture, folklore and heritage. Full-day sessions consist of a workshop on a particular topic led by an expert in that field, followed by a guided tour to a relevant heritage site or monument. The day finishes with a visit to picturesque local spots. Lunch, all refreshments and materials and any admission fees are included in the price. Current workshops are on the art and mythology of the Loughcrew Cairns. Beyond the Blarney also offer a half day workshop on traditional Irish singing. Walking tours of historic Oldcastle run every Saturday and can be arranged on other days to suit groups.
