St. Fachtna's Cathedral

The Cathedral Church of St Fachtna is an Anglican house of worship found in the town of Rosscarbery, County Cork. It sits on a site linked to Christianity since 590, when St Fachtna founded a monastic school there. The present structure was built in 1612, though the site’s first cathedral was constructed in the 12th century. Major renovations were completed at the end of the 19th century.
