Marlay Park Craft Courtyard in Marlay Park, Rathfarnam, County Dublin is home to an interesting collection of handmade crafts. Collections include silkworks pottery/ceramics, jewellery, paintings, glass-works, book restoration and musical instruments. One example of the pottery section is Frances Desmond who works mainly in red earthenware, throwing and hand-building a range of distinctively glazed ware. Occasional smoked, raku, stoneware or porcelain pieces are also made.
