Lough Glore lies to the north of the Castlepollard - Oldcastle road. It holds a good stock of brown trout and bank fishing is not possible. There is a 10-inch size limit and a six-trout bag limit. The average size of the trout is over 1.5 lb. A fisheries board permit is required.
