The centre is a member of the Irish Family History Foundation and is approved under the aegis of the Irish Genealogical Project. Carlow Genealogy Project offers a partial research service to the public - at present there is one completed genealogical source which is Roman Catholic Church records. County Carlow civil records, Griffiths Valuation and the 1901 Census are currently being indexed. Genealogical queries are taken by post, fax or in person at the offices in College Street (beside St. Patrick'sCollege).Prospective clients are asked to complete a research form and to pay €40.00 in advance to cover all administration costs.
