Athlunkard Boat club promotes the sport of rowing and currently caters for approximately 70 boys and girls from the age of 14 and upwards. The club is open all year round with indoor training during the winter months and on the water training during the summer. The club competes at regattas throughout Ireland on a regular basis and in recent years has travelled abroad to various events.
