O'Callaghan Angling is a family run business offering excellent deep sea fishing off Ireland’s western coastline, operating out of Liscannor, Co. Clare. Our vessel, “True Light”, is a newly built, 42 ft. interceptor passenger vessel, which was built in 2002 and is fully licensed by the Department of the Marine. It is built to Lloyds AI specification to the highest safety and technical standards possible. It is powered by two 300 H.P.. Caterpillar diesels and has a speed in excess of 20 knots. It carries a full package of navigational, fish detection, communication and safety equipment on board. The vessel and its equipment are surveyed, tested and certified annually by The Department of Marine Surveyors.
